My journey working with artisans began about 16 years ago when I traveled South America by bus, working for an organization researching artisan vendors.
I still travel far and wide to find, curate, and source brands that speak of quality, high craftsmanship, and uniqueness and that promote craft traditions as well as bring my rolodex of 16 years of sourcing knowledge into curated content.
Working with retailers and brands through the years, I know it’s exhausting to always look for newness. It’s costly and sometimes unsuccessful to travel to trade shows and sift through hundreds of vendors.
